What Information We Collect

We collect the following information to provide our service:

  • Email Address: We collect your email address to deliver your script reports and, if you opt-in, to send you occasional news and updates.
  • Screenplays: We collect the script you upload (in PDF format) solely for the purpose of generating your requested analysis.
  • Payment Information: All payments are processed securely through Stripe. We do not store your credit card details on our servers. We only store a record of the transaction, linked to an anonymous user ID, for order fulfillment.

How We Use Your Information

Your information is used for the following purposes:

  • To generate and deliver your script coverage or evaluation report.
  • To process your payment for our services.
  • To communicate with you about your order.
  • If you opt-in, to send you marketing communications about ScriptForge.

Script Privacy and Security

We take the privacy of your creative work very seriously. As stated in our FAQ, your script is never shared, stored long-term, or used for AI training purposes. It is processed only to generate your report and then permanently deleted from our system.

Data Storage

We use Firebase (a Google service) to securely store your user data. As shown in our database rules, your customer and script information is protected and can only be accessed by you when you are authenticated.

Your Rights

You have the right to request access to or deletion of your personal data. If you wish to have your data removed from our systems, please contact us at support@scriptforgeapp.com.
