Use this when
- A Final Draft or ForgePad screenplay approaching delivery
- Writers who want to review every correction before changing the file
- A final pass where voice, dialect and intentional fragments must be preserved

Correct errors without rewriting the voice
Find objectively clear spelling and grammar errors, review every proposed change and keep creative rewriting out of the proofread.
ScriptForge / Proofread
Change only what is clearly wrong
The direct answer
ScriptForge Proofread makes the smallest possible correction to objectively clear spelling and grammar errors. It does not polish, paraphrase or rewrite the screenplay. Formatting concerns are returned separately as advisory warnings and are never silently applied to the file.

Inside the result
Each proposed correction includes the original text, the replacement, its category, location and an explanation. Uncertain wording is left unchanged.
Scene headings, character introductions, significant prop emphasis and malformed screenplay elements can be flagged as advice without being mixed into the correction list.
Leave file changes off to receive suggestions only, or request a corrected Final Draft file after the complete change list has been generated.
Select the screenplay project and the exact language standard. Proofread follows that spelling and grammar standard without translating the script.
The current workflow accepts Final Draft .fdx, .fdxt or .xml files and ForgePad .forgepad files up to the configured upload limit.
A spelling or grammar correction changes text. A formatting warning is advice. Keeping them separate protects deliberate screenplay choices.
If corrected-file mode was selected, open the returned .fdx and perform the normal final delivery check before replacing any working draft.
Craft before software
Use a calm release checklist for names, continuity, format, the exported file and every change made after the last full read.
